Snowflake Snowmen

It's winter and snow is everywhere! It's even been snowing inside, but the snowflakes in our classroom are made of paper instead of water. We have been learning how to cut snowflakes this week, so by the end of the day our floor has been covered with little scraps. We've spent lots of time picking up!

First, we cut out three circles,
folded them,

and cut little snippets.
Imagine scraps like this all over the room from over 60 snowflakes.

Then, we colored white snow on the bottom of blue paper,

and stacked our snowflakes into a snowman.

Next, we used scraps to add details.

Hats,

scarves,

boots,

carrot noses,

eyes,

buttons,

arms,

brooms,

and smiles.

All done!

Don't they look cute?

Good job, kids!
