Camp Read-A-Lot

February is "I Love to Read" Month, and our Language Arts Committee did an awesome job this year of creating Camp Read-a-Lot, a place to give kids a place to relax and read. The Commons across from the Library was turned into a camp-site, complete with trees, tents, and lounge chairs. Classes had to sign up for a time to use the area, and the kids had to take off their shoes while in the tents. It was lots of fun to hang out and READ!

Thanks, parents, for all of the reading you did at home with your child during February.

I tell the kids almost daily, "The more you read, the better you read!"
