On St. Patrick's Day, most of the kids wore green, and all of them wore shamrocks with their names written in "Irish-speak" (ex. Jane O'Bracken). As I was pinning on the shamrocks and reading all the names, there was lots of laughter, and then one student said, "Our president must be Irish. His name is Obama." So cute!
First graders are the best!
